Indahnya kefahaman Umar ra disaat terakhir

Assalamualaikum buat saudara-saudaraku..

Moga Allah memberi manfaat buat secebis masa yang kita luangkan disini.

Kali ini nak berkongsi tentang saat-saat yang penuh dengan tangisan dan kesedihan iaitu saat-saat terakhir Umar al-khattab ra. Beliau adalah seorang sahabat yang sangat rapat dengan Baginda saw dan beliau juga adalah khalifah yang kedua setelah abu Bakar ra.

Kisah ini bermula setelah berlakunya peristiwa Umar ra ditikam oleh pisau bercabang dua yang disaluti racun ketika beliau menunaikan solat subuh.

Sewaktu beliau terbaring lemah didalam rumahnya. Seorang lelaki datang ke rumahnya dan memuji umar ra, lalu umar berkata pada lelaki itu 

" sanggupkah kamu menjadi saksi buatku diakhirat kelak ? "

Lalu setelah itu datang pula Abdullah ibn Abbas ra ketika Umar ra sedang menangis dan mendengar Umar ra berkata :

" Dengan nama Allah jika aku mampu meninggalkan dunia ini tanpa apa-apa yang memusuhiku dan tanpa apa-apa kebaikan yang telah aku lakukan, aku gembira "

setelah segala pengorbanan yang Umar ra telah lakukan , ini adalah kata-kata yang umar ra lafazkan disaat- saat terakhirnya...

Abdullah ibn Abbas ra berkata :

" wahai amirul mukminin, sewaktu Nabi saw meninggalkan dunia ini. Baginda saw gembira denganmu. Tiada 2 orang muslim bertelagah tentang kewibawaanmu sebagai khalifah. Semua orang gembira engkau adalah khalifah."

Lalu umar ra berkata :

" Aku tahu. Tapi hal khalifah ini sangat merunsingkan hatiku"

Kemudian Umar ra bertanya pada Abdullah ra :

" wahai Abdullah sanggupkah engkau menjadi saksiku diakhirat kelak ? "

Abdullah ra menjawab :

" Ya, aku sanggup "

Seketika selepas itu sewaktu umar ra terbaring diatas paha anaknya Abdullah ibn umar ra, beliau berkata pada anaknya :

" wahai Abdullah, letakkan pipiku diatas tanah. "

Lalu anaknya bertanya " kenapa ayahku ? " sambil mencium umar ra.

Umar ra berkata :

" Jika aku ditakdirkan di syurga maka bantal disyurga itu lebih lembut tapi jika aku ditakdirkan ke neraka maka engkau pasti tidak mahu pipi ini dipahamu "

Dan Umar ra memberitahu keluarganya :

" Besederhanalah dalam mengkafanku, jika Allah mentakdirkanku neraka maka Allah akan memberi yang lebih baik dari ini dan jika Allah mentakdirkan syurga buatku maka inipun akan ditanggalkan dariku.

Besederhanalah dalam menggali kuburku, jika Allah mentakdirkan syurga buatku maka Dia akan meluaskannya tapi jika Allah mentakdirkan neraka buatku maka kubur itu pun akan disempitkan. "

Lalu umar ra meminta anaknya Abdullah ra pergi kepada isteri Baginda saw untuk meminta kebenaran agar Umar ra dikuburkan ditepi Baginda saw. Apabila dikhabarkan pada Umar ra bahawa aisyah ra memberi kebenaran, 

Umar berkata :

" Aku tidak punya hajat yang lebih besar selain itu. Tapi setelah aku mati, tanya Aisyah sekali lagi, jika dia masih membenarkan maka kuburkan aku disitu tapi jika tidak maka kuburkan aku di perkuburan muslim. "

Umar ra dikuburkan di tepi Baginda saw dan nabi Muhammad saw pernah bersabda :

" Antara rumahku dengan mimbarku adalah Raudhah di antara taman-taman surga ”

 (HR. Bukhari no. 1196)

Jika manusia dikebumikan di tanah yang diambil untuk manusia itu diciptakan maka itu bermakna Abu bakar, umar dan baginda saw dicipta dari tanah taman-taman syurga.

Ambil dan renungkanlah setiap kata-kata umar ra. Meskipun dengan segala kejayaan dan pengorbanan yang beliau lakukan sepanjang hidupnya beliau masih begitu rendah diri. Ini kerana Umar ra sedar akan hakikat sebenar seorang insan yang penuh dengan kelemahan.

Jangan pernah merasa cukup dengan amal yang telah kita lakukan. Perbaiki dan tambah selagi yang kita mampu. Dunia ini tidak lain hanyalah satu persinggahan mengutip bekalan yang akan kita persembahkan buat Allah kelak.

Adakah Allah akan gembira dengan apa yang akan kita tunjukkan kelak ?

Setiap dari kita punya jawapan masing-masing. Manfaatkanlah sedikit masa yang masih kita ada sekarang. Kutip setiap peluang yang ada. Moga Allah mengampunkan segala dosa-dosa yang telah kita lakukan....

Kalau bukan kita. Siapa lagi ?

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera buat saudara muslimin dan muslimat .

  Dalam meneliti dunia di sekeliling kita pada hari ini dalam skala yang kecil seperti di kampung, sekolah, hostel, kelas mahupun kampus bagi pelajar universiti tak dapat kita nafikan pasti setiap dari kita akan menemui sebilangan muslim ataupun bukan muslim yang melakukan suatu tingkah laku yang negatif.

  Kadang-kadang hati kecil kita sering berkata :

" biarkanlah dia , dosa dia bukan aku "

  Namun jarang dari kita yang memikirkan dan melaksanakan langkah yang mampu diambil untuk melakukan sesuatu bagi membawa perubahan. Sedar atau tak sedar kita membiarkan banyak keburukan semakin berleluasa yang mana tak mustahil satu hari nanti ia akan memberi impak buruk pada diri kita sendiri.

Nabi saw bersabda :

" Tidak sempurna iman kamu selagi mana kamu tidak menyayangi saudara kamu seperti mana kamu menyayngi diri kamu sendiri "

Apabila seorang muslim melihat individu muslim yang lainnya harus bagi kita untuk cuba mengubahnya dengan tangan, lidah atau membenci dengan hati akan perbuatan itu.

Langkah yang diambil tidak perlu terlalu drastik seperti menampar kawan kita kerana menghisap rokok.

Nabi Muhammad saw mengajar kita method dakwah yang lembut. Mungkin kita boleh berusaha mengajaknya menunaikan solat berjemaah bersama-sama sebagai langkah awal.

 Solat secara berjemaah secara tidak langsung akan mengikat hati kita dengan sahabat itu seterusnya merapatkan hubungan dan kita juga tahu bahawa solat mencegah perbuatan mungkar. 2 in 1.

Setelah beberapa hari, ambil langkah seterusnya dengan berkongsi kisah-kisah pengorbanan para sahabat dan nabi terdahulu atau mana-mana individu, ini akan memberi impak dalam melembutkan hati setiap sahabat kita.

Dalam perjalanan dakwah, akan sampai suatu tahap kita harus menyatakan kebenaran yakni setelah kita yakin individu tersebut sudah mampu menerima dan berfikir akan kata-kata yang kita luahkan sebagai seorang sahabat.

Namun, jarang yang akan terus berubah. Berikan mereka masa. Pada waktu yang sama jangan berhenti mengulangi langkah pertama dan kedua. Kongsikan pengalaman dan banyakkan mendengar luahan mereka bagi memahami personaliti sahabat kita.

Sebagai seseorang yang memegang title 'MUSLIM'

Dakwah yakni mengajak pada kebaikan sudah menjadi tanggungjawab kita. Perasaan takut dan risau diawalnya itu normal. Padamkan ia dengan merenungkan apa yang mungkin terjadi kalau kita membiarkan perkara itu terus berlaku.

Jangan menunggu guru atau ulamak memulakan langkah. Mintalah nasihat dari mereka dan kita sendiri perlu cuba melakukan sesuatu sedaya yang kita mampu.

Selidiklah dahulu sesuatu hal sebelum memulakan dakwah pada sesuatu bahagian. Jangan hanya membuta tuli kerana di akhirnya ia hanya akan membawa impak yang lebih buruk pada diri dan orang lain.

Kalau bukan kita. Siapa lagi ? 

Itulah kata-kata yang saya tanam didalam hati bagi menggagahkan diri melangkah kehadapan dan menyatakan apa yang benar 3 tahun yang lalu.

Langkah pertama is always the hardest tapi bila kita berjaya mengharunginya, ketika itulah hati akan mendapat nikmat ketengan.

Dakwah adalah suatu peluang keemasan yang luas, bukan sahaja ia akan membentuk individu lain tapi terutamanya ia akan membentuk diri kita sendiri.

Kata-kata yang dilafazkan secara tidak langsung akan menjadi bimbingan dan peringatan buat diri sendiri.

Nabi saw bersabda :

 “Barang siapa yang menunjukkan kepada suatu kebaikan, maka baginya pahala seperti orang yang melaksanakannya”

Ia adalah saham yang sangat-sangat 

menguntungkan !!!

---> Pelbagai langkah boleh dipilih berdasarkan personaliti individu yang ingin kita dekati tapi asasnya adalah menjadikan individu itu menerima kita sebagai seorang sahabat yang mampu berkongsi .....

Moga Allah redha dan memberkati setiap amal baik yang kita kerjakan dan memberi kita kesempatan untuk memohon keampunan sebelum hembusan nafas kita yang terakhir . aminnn ...

Jadi, in shaa Allah kali ni rasa nak kongsi sedikit info tentang satu ceramah yang saya dengar di laman youtube ^^ Penceramahnya ialah Yasir Qadhi.

Kalau kita renungkan dalam lipatan sejarah islam, sebaik sahaja iblis ingkar perintah Allah apabila Allah azza wa jal menyuruhnya sujud pada Adam as, apa yang iblis lakukan ? 

BERDOA

Dia berdoa ! Cuba kita bayangkan suasana disaat itu. Iblis baru sahaja mengingkari perintah Allah di depan Allah. Di hadapan Allah dan Allah baru sahaja sekejap tadi menghukumnya. Namun, meskipun semua yang terjadi iblis tetap berdoa pada Allah.

AJAIB BUKAN

Mengapa iblis melakukannya ? Kerana iblis sedar akan hakikat hanya Allah yang mampu memberikan apa sahaja yang dia mahukan dan tiada yang lain mampu melakukan hal yang sama.

Tapi, lebih ajaib bila kita perhatikan keadaan umat islam secara global pada hari ini :3

Berjuta-juta muslim berdoa pada insan soleh yang telah meninggal dunia seperti Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al Jailani dan ramai lagi.

Iblis pun tidak sebodoh ini !!!

Bukankah telah dikhabarkan oleh nabi Muhammad saw :

 Dia (Allah) berfirman : ‘Barangsiapa berdoa kepada-Ku akan Ku perkenankan doanya. Barangsiapa meminta kepada-Ku akan Ku beri dia. Siapa yang minta ampun, akan Ku ampuni dia.” [0602]

Barangsiapa yang memohon sesuatu pada yang lain dari Allah terutamanya dari mereka yang telah tiada, bukan sahaja mereka tidak akan mampu memperkenankan doa kita malahan mereka tidak akan mendengar pun .

Lebih dari 500 ayat Al-Quran melarang kita meminta sesuatu selain dari Allah.

Apa yang ingin saya sampaikan adalah setiap dari kita punya keinginan, kadang-kadang keinginan tu kelihatan jauh dan sukar dicapai. Berusahalah dan berdoalah pada Allah serta yakinlah pada-NYA.

Allah akan sentiasa memberikan yang terbaik pada kita walaupun pada awalnya kita mungki tidak menyedarinya .

Allah befirman :

“Boleh jadi kamu membenci sesuatu, padahal ia amat baik bagimu, dan boleh jadi (pula) kamu menyukai sesuatu, padahal ia amat buruk bagimu; Allah mengetahui, sedangkan kamu tidak mengetahui.”

(Al-Baqarah: 216)

Yakin dan teruskan usaha serta berdoalah.

For Everything That Come

In The Name Of Allah

The Most Gracious

The Most Merciful

Assalamualaikum to all my respected readers :D May God's mercy shine upon us all and may He makes us among those who walk in the right path.

Its have been a few months since I write anything in this blog of mine. Honestly, I'm not really busy. Should I say, I have this feeling that I have walk quite far away from the right path.

I only hope that Allah will forgive all of my sins and yours too. Lets us keep on praying for each other as we are all  brothers and the bonds we share is much thicker than blood !!

Just a few weeks ago, I received quite a shocking news regarding the course I want to take for undergraduate study. I cry when I see it. I really hope this time Allah will grant for what I ask because I think that what I want is the best for me but of course Allah knows better.

I didn't get what I ask. Allah gave me something else. The first time I see the news, my mind feels completely blank. All that come out are tears. But the I remember a verse from the Quran where Allah said in surah Al-Baqarah verse 216 :

"... But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not. "

my dear brothers and sisters,

Life is a blessing from Allah. Although, we might lose or didn't get what we want, we have to believe in Him for Allah love us more than our mother love us. Sometimes, Allah didn't give what we ask because He want to give something better and sometimes He didn't grant us the thing we want most because He knows it might be harmful to us later in the future.

Sheikh Saleh Al-Maghamsi once said :

" The greatest iman is to think good about Allah "

That means, no matter what come in our ways, we know it is from Allah so we have to trust in Him and take the opportunity to do as best as we can for every chance we have.

Our prophet saw once tell us the strongest person is someone who is able to hold off his anger. Someone who is able to be patient on the moment when the hardship strike him is indeed the strongest person.

On another occasion, we learn that each hardship also come with a great prize. Forgiveness for our past sins. So, lets try to look in this way, each time something bad happen to you, look at it as a great way to erase your sins. That way, you will realize the hardship is actually a give from the Almighty.

Besides, when the test fall upon us, it can also be a wake up call. During the time, we might have engage in something that is forbidden and so this test should be enough for our heart to be soft enough to accept that what we are doing is wrong and we should stop. Ask for forgiveness as Allah have said in surah zumar verse 53 :

" Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

If Allah can forgive a person that have kill more that 100 persons. Why can't He forgive us ?

Its up to us honestly... Be sincere in whatever you do.

As for me now, I'm still waiting and doing my best here. I'm waiting for the opportunity that Allah have store for me... 

Make dua for me guys and also to all my friends here. May we succeed with the blessing of our Maker :D

All I can conclude, we are here in this world like someone in the examination room. All that happen is a test to see if we are worthy for the mercy and the great paradise. So, be patient !!! Keep doing your best in every worst situation :)

Will we be happy to meet Death ?

Assalamualaikum wbt.

especially to all my dearest brothers and sisters across the globe :D

First of all, lets us say 'ALHAMDULILAH' in our hearts for Allah still give His blessing of Islam to us until this very moment !!

For those who aren't islam yet ^^ thank you so much for be here . I pray to Allah that He will soon puts the light in your heart as Allah is the most Merciful.

So, in shaa Allah .. I will be sharing as much as I can get from my reading of Tanbihul Ghafilin Book :)

Quite a scaring thing for mos of us when we first think about it right. Not just when we were a child but up until now I'm sure we still worry about at some point.

But, just worrying about it will not help us as much really. What we understand and the path we choose to take is the absolute key in dealing with death when the time comes for each one of us

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: 

“Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. Whoever is averse to meeting Allah, Allah is averse to meeting him.” [Jami at-Tirmidhi]

Our prophet Muhammad (pbuh) explain to us regarding this hadith that it refer to the time when the angel of death come to take our soul. Those who love to meet Allah when he hear the good news that have been brought to him at the moment, that is the person that Allah love to meet but does who hate to meet Allah at that moment after he receive the bad news then that is the person that Allah also hate to meet :)

When Allah love us, he make us busy with zikr and we will always remember Him at any condition. We trust and believe in Him

Abu Laits said :

" Those who believe in death should prepare himself with good deeds and stay away from bad deeds since he do not know when the death will come upon him "

The messenger of Allah said :

“Take benefit of five before five: Your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before you are preoccupied, and your life before your death”(Narrated by Ibn Abbas and reported by Al Hakim)

Just from this one hadith, it can bring a great impact in our routine. Most of us should already have the experience with sickness. Remember how weak we are at the moment and how we are unable to do things that we can during we healthy ?

some of us who have become old, ahhh how we wish that we can become young again right ?

Try to bring this thought in your head and you will see what is prophet trying to said :)

We humans, our mind have been lead in such a way, even if we think about death, its hardly affect our heart. I'm talking about humans in this age of technology. Even animals can understand this better if they have the same knowledge .

Prophet (Pbuh) said :

" If animals know about death as you know about it, you will surely cannot eat fat meats forever "

Death brings quite a pain you know :)

In one hadith , when prophet Isa by the will of Allah revive Sam Ibn Nuh, Sam said that the pain of death, he can still felt it although that he have died 4000 years ago.

My brothers and sisters,

we cannot help to feel afraid when we feel that death is coming to get us, yes it a normal feeling that most of us have. Even me, I still really worry about it.

But as I said, worrying will bring us nowhere. Use that feeling to open the path that leads our life to Allah .

OPEN AND RECITE THE QURAN YOU LEFT YEARS AGO

START PRAYING FOR ALLAH' S SAKE

BE KIND TO OTHERS

TREATS  YOUR PARENTS WELL

EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT ISLAM

PAY YOUR ZAKAT

Do !! Just do it.. Do good deeds, even if you feel that its not sincerely for Allah. Do not stop, keep doing it and keep praying that Allah will accept it and make your heart at ease :)

The Beginning of Journey to Allah's Love

Assalamualaikum dear brothers and sisters :D

All praise to Allah for His blessing upon us for given us this opportunity to spent just a little bit time for our iman. 

The Priceless Treasure ...thas iman for you

Peace and blessing upon our prophet Muhammad and his family and may Allah raise us all together with him (saw) on the day of Qiyamah..

Life is a miracle. Just one second might be the point to change our life completely. We live here  in this world as a traveler. We see, we eat, we drink, we work and many more things we do.  But sometimes, this thing slowly take us away from our Allah...

maybe before we begin working with that company. We pray 5 times in mosque but after that might have become 3 times.

maybe before begin the business we have, we recite the quran everyday but now might just be once in a week.

This is just a few examples that might snap us out for a moment. However, if we feel that our heart have slowly driven away from Allah...

DO SOMETHING !!!

bUt.... Before you begin to do anything that have pop out in your head, first and foremost, there is ABSOLUTELY something else you need to do first dear brothers and sisters..

Allah says in the Quran  Surat An-Nūr ( verse 64 ) :

''Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Already He knows that upon which you [stand] and [knows] the Day when they will be returned to Him and He will inform them of what they have done. And Allah is Knowing of all things''

It is really important as the first step to ask ourself, 

WHO AM I DOING IT FOR ???

try to dig in our heart and answer sincerely to ourselves... If its for Allah then go on but if not then stop and do anything , anything at all to change it to Allah ..

After that can we enter the gate :D The gate of ibadah ...

Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) said :

Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

This is why check it and correct it :)

May everything we become an ibadah so that Allah will love us more and more <3

you can consider the intention as the root of a tree. If the root itself is weak there is no way that tree can grow straight up to the sky. Sooner or later it will fall !!

The intention we put in our heart must be stronger than anything else we hold dear to our heart in this heart  so that when the time come for us to stand firm we can do it :D

Finally, all I want to say is good luck and lets do our best in searching for HIS mercy and please make dua to me and to each muslims may Allah guide us and forgive us for our mistakes we have commit :)

Today is The Key for Tomorrow

Assalamualaikum.

Alhamdulilah, first of all let us thank Allah for giving us all the opportunity to take a breath at this moment and time because by Allah each second we have is so precious but sadly most of us didn't realize about it.

It have been quite some time since my last sharing with you all :)
I guess I cannot help it because there are quite issue going around me this weeks.

I ask Allah to open our heart to accept the truth and give us strength to walk and stay on the path.

Alright, actually today is quite a great day to me. Today, I have participate in 3 awesome events you can say .  It was quite tiring but I manage to go through it somehow ^^

Why is it I say today is the key for the future ?
simple to understand right. All of us have a point somewhere in this life to turn our life 180 degree, all that differentiate us is either we grab it or leave it.

well, basically that is what I learn today.

To be honest with you all, last night something happen and I was quite sad yet happy . Allah have taken away something that I want to hold on to but now I realize something, looking back almost everything I plan and wish for never go through.

Allah always plan the best. We all know that right however its up to us to stay believe that He got something better for us or not. 

My brothers and sisters I choose to stay firm and keep on believe in Him and by His will  I will keep on doing so and I hope so do you. 

Life is a journey. We share and walk on this path together. This is what I learn here :

It is a group form by us where here we gathered and talk about the religion we love so much, Islam ...

I learn today that despite the hardship I might face now, there will always will be someone who experience a greater pain and for that reason I might stay strong and hold on to the dream I have which is to wake up the Ummah. 

OUR UMMAH !!!

Think about it, it is up to us to revive the ummah not anyone else.

If we stay afraid and hiding behind our own shadow

nothing will change

WE WILL NOT CHANGE 

Each one of us is an asset of Islam

We have to battle our own self in order to become a true slave of Allah

After quite some time there, I went to a celebration party of ProMahasiswa with brother Bukhairy :

He is quite a great man. He teach me a lot about the importance of relationship in the muslim ummah. Tonight we went to the party and eat roti canai . 

They were all so happy because their party had won in this year election. I'm happy for them too . Finally, after finish all the work here we went home to University Malaya.

Just when I thought all of this is over. I went to my Arabic class and it looks like there were still there and alhamdulilah I manage to learn quite a few things today although it just for a couple of minutes.

This is my ustaz or teacher . A really nice young man :

I know now that all of us is in an examination room

we are the candidates and Allah is the examiner.

He give us hardship not because He wants trouble for us but it is for our own benefits.

We might do not see it now 

But just keep on believe in Him.

Allah have a plan and His plan will always be the best for us

may Allah guide us all and keep us on the right path..aminn

may He forgive our sins.. aminn

may His mercy shine upon us all.
